Pigs are also the livestock whose farming process affects the environment the most, with the model increasingly expanding in quantity as well as the scale of barns, leading to great pressure on the environment, especially the smell spreading to residential areas.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Main_emission_points_in_pig_farming\"><\/span><strong>Main emission points in pig farming<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Currently, with advantages in operation, biosafety as well as economic optimization, pig farming is mainly developed according to the industrial model, cold barns, concentrated with large scale and farm area. There is odor in these areas but the load will be less than inside the barn, because when there is water, anaerobic microbial activities often occur, mainly creating CH<sub>4<\/sub> (odorless).
